Who we are (data controller)

Data we process

Account data: email address, or your Telegram id/username if you sign in via Telegram.

Chart data: date, time and place of birth (coordinates) you enter to build charts, and any names/tags you assign to saved people.

Payment metadata: payment status and amount, plan chosen, last card digits (if passed to us by the payment provider) — we do NOT receive or store full card data, which is handled by Paddle. For crypto payments: transaction status and order ID from NOWPayments.

Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, interface language, cookies.

Purpose and legal basis

Providing the Service (creating and storing charts, authentication) — performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR / contractual basis under Ukraine's Law "On Personal Data Protection").

Payment processing and fraud prevention — performance of a contract and legitimate interest.

Usage analytics, product improvement — legitimate interest.

Reminders and digest emails — consent (you can withdraw it at any time).

Payment providers — independent controllers

When you pay by card, your payment data is processed by Paddle.com Market Limited as an INDEPENDENT data controller (not our processor) — Paddle's own Privacy Policy (paddle.com/legal) applies to that data. Likewise, cryptocurrency payment data is processed by NOWPayments (nowpayments.io) under its own privacy policy.

Who else we share data with

Google Analytics (aggregated, anonymized usage analytics). Telegram (if you sign in or receive notifications via our Telegram bot). OpenRouter — our AI model provider, if you use the AI-reading feature (it receives the chart data needed for the reading, WITHOUT your name or contact details). Partner astrologers/schools — only the data you explicitly choose to share when booking their services. We do NOT sell your data to third parties.

International data transfers

Our providers (hosting, payment providers, analytics, AI) may process data outside Ukraine/the EEA. Where this happens, we rely on the contractual data-protection mechanisms (standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards) offered by those providers.

Cookies

Functional cookies (sign-in, language, theme) are required for the Service to work. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are used with your consent via the cookie banner; you may decline them without affecting core functionality.

Retention

Account and chart data is kept while your account exists. You may delete individual charts or your entire account at any time in settings; backups are removed on our regular backup-rotation cycle (up to 90 days). Payment records may be kept longer where required by Ukrainian tax law.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete ("right to be forgotten"), restrict processing of, port, and object to processing of your data (where based on legitimate interest), and to withdraw consent previously given. To exercise these rights, email info@astroprognostic.com — we respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your country's data protection supervisory authority.

Security

Passwords are stored hashed (Argon2), connections are encrypted (HTTPS), and database access is restricted. Despite these measures, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not intended for individuals under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from such individuals; if you become aware of an account belonging to someone under 16, please notify us and we will delete it.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy; the last-updated date is shown at the top of this page. We will notify you of material changes by email or an in-Service notice.
