The concept of “Event Formulas”, developed by academician S. V. Shestopalov (St. Petersburg Astrological Academy, St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences), is a strict mathematical methodology for analyzing fate. According to this concept, any life event is a consequence of the interaction of specific houses of the natal chart through aspects of their elements (rulers, co-rulers and planets in the houses). The interaction of houses is indicated as a formula: for example, connection II ± VIII describes large financial transactions, IV ± VII - registration of marriage and change of residence, and I/X ± VII - official union and popularity. A formula becomes an event only if there are three or more instructions (rule 3+).
