Astrocartography (Astro*Carto*Graphy, created by Jim Lewis in the 1970s) is an advanced branch of spatial and relocation astrology. At the moment of your birth, the planets occupied strictly defined positions relative to the horizon and meridian in different parts of the Earth. An astrocartographic chart visually draws lines across the globe where each planet has ascended (Asc), zenith (MC), set below the horizon (Dsc), or is at its inferior culmination (IC). By moving or traveling to the zone of influence of a particular planetary line, a person activates the corresponding archetype: the Jupiter line bestows social expansion and wealth, the Sun line - brightness and recognition, the Venus line - love and aesthetic comfort, and the Saturn line requires extreme composure.

The maximum radius of the planetary line is about 500 km (about 5° longitude). The most intense resonance is felt in a band up to 150–200 km from the exact trajectory.
Do aspects between planets change when moving? ▼
No. The mutual angular distances (aspects) between the planets remain unchanged. Relocation only changes their connection to the angles and houses of the horoscope.
